What customers say?

“ Nuttea sits there quietly pretending to be calm while the rest of the food court screams around it. Minimalist signage. Beige tones. Serious fonts. It wants you to believe this is a refined tea experience, not just another sugar delivery system hiding in a mall. You line up thinking you’ll get something light and soothing. Oolong. Maybe something roasted. Something that says “I have my life together.” Then you see the menu and realise Nuttea’s whole personality revolves around one thing: thick, creamy, salty cheese foam. Everything leads back to it. Tea as a vehicle. Foam as the destination. Ordering feels like a small exam. What tea base. Sugar level. Ice level. Do you want the foam thick or extra thick, which sounds less like a drink choice and more like a personality trait. You panic slightly and just point at something roasted. Safe. Adult. Allegedly. When the cup arrives, it’s handsome. Clear plastic. Layers visible. Tea below, foam on top like a smug cloud. The first sip is confusing in a way that keeps you going. Bitter tea, savoury foam, a little salt, a little cream. Your brain pauses to process. Is this a drink or a soup. Is this dessert or a dare. Halfway through, the novelty wears off and the richness kicks in. The foam coats your mouth like it’s settling in for a long stay. You start tilting the cup at increasingly aggressive angles just to get more tea and less… whatever this dairy situation is. But the foam is relentless. It follows you. It wins. By the end, you feel both hydrated and full, which shouldn’t be possible. You enjoyed it, but you’re not sure why. You tell yourself you’ll try a different tea next time, maybe less foam, but deep down you know you won’t. Nuttea is not about balance. It’s about committing to the bit. Would I recommend it? Yes, once. Maybe twice. It’s interesting, well executed, and strangely addictive. But it’s also the kind of drink that makes you sit quietly afterwards, staring into space, wondering why tea needed to be this thick and why you’re somehow both refreshed and slightly overwhelmed at the same time. ”

“ So happy it is in Melbourne! Love it so much and always get it in Taiwan! This shop makes vegan bubble tea and they taste so good!!! Plenty of options and variety, I always add the extra nut cream on top just like the cheese foam! Can’t wait to go and try the new items! ”

“ Omg yum! This place is fantastic, I wish remembered to take a better photo. I had the earl grey with chocolate nut cream and pearls and it felt like a full dessert, it was very filling. Day 2- I tried the matcha nut cream, the matcha was a little bitter I probably wouldn’t get that one again but I still plan to go back and try something else. The best part, the shop is totally vegan. Highly recommend. ”
